manga vs anime

I have seen all of the one piece anime up till the point where it is at right now, and i have just started reading the manga for it yesterday and i am on chapter 29 now.... i have no idea why i started reading the manga when i actually didnt like the anime due to its extreme slow pace. but in terms of whats better the manga or the anime, i would have to say that so far, i have been enjoying the manga alot more. the manga and the anime are very similar, but there are a few slight differences that i have noticed. for example, kaya's room is on the second floor of the mansion so usop has to sit on a tree branch to talk with her, but in the manga, kaya's room is on the first floor so he just sits against the tree's trunk to talk with her. things like this dont really matter in the long run, but i do wonder why they changed it.... XD

okay! i know there is a ton of RP's but this is a good idea!! ok... here is the back story from the beginning.
Ava was holding her mothers hand as tightly as she could, wondering where she was taking her in such a rush. "mommy? where are we going?" her mother looked down at her and then said "you will see... we are almost there." they burst through a door into a hallway then her mother let go of Ava and said "Ava, sweet." she bent down next to her and put her hands on her shoulders.... "im going to send you somewhere where you can hide, and get away from them... so whatever happens just know that i love you so much..." she then gave Ava a hug and said "we need to go." as she said that a bunch of soldiers burst through the door and said "there she is!" Ava's mother picked her up and started running. They went through a door that Ava had never been trough. her mother had told never to go in there...
"take the child!" her mother said "not me! im useless now! my mark is already fading. and hers is still bright! so spare her and kill me!" a man then walked through the door, the soldiers then made way for him and one of them whispered in his ear... he nodded and said "Sorena... i have been searching for you in the wrong place all along.... now i will take your daughter, and kill you... i will train her to be a powerful leader, Avatarini.. the incarnation of god... that will be perfect... seize her!" the soldiers got there spears and went for Sorena. the crimson liquid splashed on Ava's face as she watched her mother die.... after that day Ava had thought her mother had betrayed her... but now she knows that her mother was just protecting her...

Ava was thrown into a door... she felt like she was flying.. but then hit the ground hard, followed by guards grabbing her arms taking her down a corridor as Ava cried out for her mother, struggling to get free of the guards grasps, failing, only to be thrown onto the cold floor of a cell...

Ava sat there in a corner... she was crying... waiting for something to happen... then she herd two guards talking to each other at the cell's opening... "i herd that this kid is Sorena's daughter..." the other guard looked at him and said "ya think?! why do you think we are standing her guarding it?" the other guy then said "shut up! i knew that! but anyways... she has the mark.. thats why her mother gave her to us.. ether she was helping us, or she has something up her sleeve..."
"why do you think she would help us? she probably told someone on her team to come get her. but they will never get past us!"
"right!"
Ava didnt know what they where talking about, but she didnt care... she then started to hear shouting in the room next to the cell's. "what was that?!" said one of the guards. "I dont know! but be prepared for anything!" all of a sudden someone burst through the roof. there was a bright light then a man standing there with the two guards on the ground stunned and passed out. the man broke the cell door open and kneeled next to ava saying "come with me and you will see a place called candy island! (XD JK! got that from Flapjack!) what he really said was "come... i am not here to hurt you child... my name is Avatara... i am your brother...." Ava then looked at him and said "but i thought i was an only child?" there was a yell in the room next to us and then guards started to come through the door. "there he his!" one of them yelled. Avatara then picked up ava and said "your safe with me!" then jumped out of the hole he had made in the roof and disappeared into the night...
"Shi*!" a man that pushed through the guards yelled. "Avatara! we will kill you! and when we do we will take Avatarina with us!"

Avatara looked down at them and dashed off into the night.... Ava looked up at Avatara and felt like she had known him her whole life... (which is only 5 years XD) she felt like she was safe so she fell asleep in his arms and dreamed of her mother...

Appearance: has the same kind of hair as light, but black, blue eyes, a mark of something like this on his face ;', average size for a 15 year old, very handsome (way freaking hot in other words...)
Personality: very kind but can get very serious, is very funny, everyone loves him... you get the point!
likes: his sister, his mother, his team mates, fashion
Dislikes: violence, people who only think of money

True tears is an anime I just started last night. I'm already up to the 7th episode, and I'm loving the anime so far!

It's a funny, cute, and touching anime, in my opinion at least.

It's short, and only has 13 episodes.

True Tears revolves around a high school student named Shinichirō Nakagami with a high artistic ability. He lives with his mother, father, and fellow high school student Hiromi Yuasa who moved into his house after her father died. Her father had been a close friend of the family, so it was natural for Hiromi to come stay with the Nakagami family; one year has passed since she came to live in their home. Shinichirō has known Hiromi for years, but before he had always treasured her smile, though now she acts coldly when at home and he cannot bring up the nerve to talk with her either. When she is at school, Hiromi is popular, always smiles, and is talented in sports, but Shinichirō knows she must be hiding things inside her. At school, he meets a strange girl named Noe Isurugi who wishes him misfortune after Shinichirō teases her.

Thinking about it, I think I would. Depending on if I had someone close to me I loved or the possession I was in needed it or not.
Im glad the author decided to make the eye trade thing, made it more interesting

well this is the very first manga made by Tite Kubo, the creator of BLEACH. But the series is incomplete only reaching 4 volumes and if any body's read it, (which is probably just KK and i) you can discuss how you feel about it here.

All of us must have at least one idea for an anime. So this is the thread to show us your ideas.

What to do in this thread:

Give us a title and a summery of the plot. Include the genre and target audience.

Also, you are free to give your opinions and criticism on others ideas. (I love criticism)

Here's my idea:

Title: Deus eX Machina

Plot Summery

In the year 2014, a computer hacker begins to surface. Targeting a multitude of computers, including the computer of the main protagonist; a high school girl. The hacker calls itself Deus eX Machina. At first the protagonist (can't think of a good name) doesn't think of this hacker as anything much. But later on she starts getting creepy messages from Deus eX Machina. As the story progresses Deus eX Machina starts to take over entire networks, and become a global threat.

We latter find out that Deus eX Machina is not a computer hacker, but instead a virus that went sentient (became self aware), and is rapidly evolving. It's goal is to continue to evolve so it can become a physical entity, and from there evolve to the level of a god.

Deus eX Machina continues to stalk and haunt the protagonist. As it has developed an obsession for her. It goes as far as depicting itself raping her when it begins to tap into her dreams after it has become highly evolved.

Genre: Sci-fi, mystery, and a bit of horror (whenever Deus eX Machina taps into the protagonist's dreams)

Target audience: Young adults

I promise you this: If I am incapable of getting an anime based on this story, then I will make a novel of it when I become an author. (If I ever do)
